The solar plexus chakra is located between your navel and your sternum. This energy center is your source of physical and mental power, will, and resolve. When in alignment you are able to feel the full spectrum of your emotions. You will feel in control, assertive, and confident. You will experience a sense of being “right sized.”
The inner critic comes out when this chakra is out of balance. Issues regarding personal power and self-esteem lead back to blockages within this energy center. When this chakra is imbalanced some of the physical manifestations can include digestive problems, stomach ulcers, pancreas and gallbladder issues.
Some sources believe that as we emotionally evolve through our life, there is lesson to learn, a concept to master, before one can ascend to the next. The lesson of the solar plexus chakra is self-acceptance.
